Committees

Development - Oversees membership development, grants, fundraising and special events, communications, press relations, and newsletter. Chairs: Sean Cahill

Education - Conceives and executes educational programs, including DC's Most Endangered, walking tours and lectures for both DCPL membership and the public. Also responsible for website content. Chair: Ronal Staley, FAPT

Government Affairs - Initiates new legislation and shapes regulations relevent to historic preservation. Chair: Andrew Potts, Esq.

Landmarks - Identifies endangered places and acts on documenting and preserving those properties. Chair: Peter Sefton

Project Review - Applies historic preservation standards to reviewed building projects and provides comments, guidance and testimony to the city Historic Preservation Office and the Historic Preservation Review Board. Chair: Donald Beekman Myer, FAIA
