Support ongoing DC Modern efforts by joining the DC Preservation League at a cocktail fund raiser at the Slayton House in Cleveland Park. Designed by I.M. Pei in the late 1950s for William and Mary Slayton, current owners Dan Snyder and Tom Breit will host a reception in their unique mid-century residence, and offer access to one of only two houses known to have been designed by the renowned architect.
Complete with mid-century and contemporary furnishings, the residence also features an impressive 20th century art collection. Tour the home and learn more about how celebrated modernist Hugh Newell Jacobsen, FAIA, guided its recent renovation to respect and reflect the building's original design.
