The Invitations Have Been Mailed! If you have not received one-please contact us.
The DC Preservation League (DCPL), Washington's only citywide non-profit historic preservation organization, will celebrate 35 years of preservation activism with a fund raising dinner in the Ballroom of the historic Willard InterContinental Hotel on Thursday, January 25, 2007. The event will be hosted by local radio personality Robert Aubry Davis, a native Washingtonian and television and radio personality. He is the host of WETA's Emmy Award-winning television program Around Town. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception at 7:00 pm followed by dinner at 8:00 pm which will include a program commemorating DCPL's accomplishments, the contributions of our numerous supporters, and the work of countless volunteers. The event will draw people from all over the city to focus on the role historic preservation and DCPL play in shaping the character of Washington's neighborhoods and its historic downtown.
