Black History Month Tour of Frederick Douglass National Historic Site

Join the DC Preservation League for a members-only tour of the Frederick Douglass National Historic Site with Supervisory Ranger Nate Johnson.

Cedar Hill was built between 1855-59 and is the former home of Frederick Douglass. Douglass was born into slavery in Maryland in 1818, escaped to freedom, and later became in internationally known African-American social reformer, abolitionist, and statesman.
